Best Trips for Couples
Since we are in the month of love I have been thinking about romantic getaways for couples. Some of my favorite trips with my boyfriend has been times when I have felt super removed from the world. Here are some of my suggestions:
Safari | Being super removed from society and experiencing everything with just your significant other, is super romantic. Plus, the sunsets and sunrises really add to the ambiance!
The Bahamas | Often the lesser known islands in the Bahamas are overlooked, but have some of the best, most private beaches and don't get the regular tourist traffic through. Offering unobstructed sunsets and a quiet oasis for you and your loved one!
Road Trips | Some of my road trips with my boyfriend, though not quite as glamourous as jet setting, have been some of our favorite times. There is really something to be said over bonding over the song that gets replayed throughout the whole trip, or bickering over making a wrong turn. Plus, often cruising around without a proper destination. Some of my favorite road trips inspiration: Hudson Valley, NY, Belfast, Coastal Wales, Wine Route in Cape Town, Cornwall, Edinburgh and surrounding areas, Arizona and Utah.
Cape Town | One of the most beautiful cities in the world, Cape Town is a picturesque retreat for the couple that loves awesome food, amazing wine and a laid-back adventure mixed with some nature!
Rome | Celebrated for food and wine, the eternal city is the perfect place for a weekend getaway. Dine al fresco, enjoying the terracotta streets and watch the world pass as you linger over a carbonara with you s/o.
Paris | Paris is for lovers, as everyone knows. Name a better place for a romantic retreat!
Skiing | If you are a winter lover, hitting the slopes with your person is always fun! Indulge in little ‘après ski’ and cozy up to your person back in the lodge!
Marrakesh | The riads and spas in Marrakesh lend themselves to a super romantic trip, pushing wellness and relaxation. Skip the city sites, and book yourself a luxurious stay and spend your time relaxing!
London | London is sexy, what more can I say. There is something so romantic about pub hoping and wandering the streets of London!
New York City | It would be remiss of me not to mention the one and only. Besides being the greatest city in the world, there is nothing you cannot find in NY. The city is riddled with beautiful hotels, ultracool speakeasies, colorful and groundbreaking restaurants that are all the more amazing to share with your love!
