The Best Thing I Did in Rome

Recently I spent a little over a week in The Eternal City and absolutely fell in love with everything Roman.  One day in particular stood out as my favorite.  A month or so before the trip I was browsing one of my favorite blogs for some inspiration on what to do and stumbled on a company called Scooteroma

Scooteroma is a Vespa guide service started by a husband and wife wanting to share their love of Rome...and Vespas.  And what better way to see Roma?! I emailed beforehand to set up the details.  They have different tour options- but I went with the classic tour since it was my first time.  We were picked up right on the doorstep of our Airbnb (AMAZING).

Our guides gave us a Roman’s view of the city.  They took us to see some cool art spots spread throughout the city. I had never realized graffiti is such a prevalent part of Rome.  Also – the views they brought us to were not to miss!  It didn’t feel like any other tour I’ve ever been on, totally more of a local’s perspective.  They were friendly and knowledgeable.  They truly know what they are doing and had brilliant ideas about how to get the best perspectives on Rome.  The tour is totally worth every penny, I wouldn’t go back to Rome without booking another one (and you shouldn’t either).
