November Favorites

Super short and sweet, I am really leaning into this season.  With November super jam packed, as well as the endless number of plans for December, I have been savoring the small moments of alone time when possible.  I have been really leaning into the cozy season, and all things pumpkin spice.

1.      The stevia drops – pumpkin spice flavor- really giving me that PSL feel without the price or calories, from my home.  A small amount goes a long way!

2.     Trader joes pumpkin pie spice – I also use this in coffee, but my favorite use is when making an apple crumble.  During the autumn my favorite dessert to have at home or bring along is a homemade apple crumble.  I use this in addition to adding cinnamon to my creation, I swear it really is nice!

3.     Trader Joes Chai Tea latte mix- not pumpkin spice, but for some reason this gives me all of the Fall joy that I need.  Nothing makes me happier than this, while cozying up with a book on the couch! Beware- there is a lot of sugar.

Continuing on my all things cozy conquest…

1.      Reading, again – due to summer travel and a general busy schedule I fell off of my daily dose of literature for at least a few weeks there.  I am not re-inventing the wheel with this one, it has just been really lovely to get back into my never-ending book list.

2.     Conde Nast traveler- I mean, this magazine (yes, real magazine) has been the gold standard of travel for me since I was first allowed to get a magazine subscription.  I love nothing more than pouring over the places they deem as travel must do’s, as well as fantasizing and planning my year ahead.

3.     Nest candles- All year, Nest absolutely knows how to nail the elevated scents that can transport you to a happier place by simply lighting their candles.  In general, one of my passions is making everyday a little luxurious.  By lighting a candle, in my never seen outside out the house sweatpants and cozy sweater, I am instantly in my happy place.  Favorites are definitely both Holiday scents and Himalayan Salt & Rosewater (or all of them).

4.     Drunk Elephant C-Firma fresh day serum- helps me every day to keep things bright!

5.     Autumnal cooking- I would say I am best at cooking comfort food, and getting to make my chicken pot pie again always makes me happy (tag recipe)

6.     The Crown – with the final installment set for December, I have been re watching and catching up, as I love watching bits about the royals from the fashion to the overly dramatic lives, its quite entertaining.

Lastly, this month has meant many things to me, but also means getting back into travel, which has been on pause for about two months.  Every week for the next two months will be time away from home, but very much looking forward to the adventures, as this is when I feel most joyful.  I am sure I will be looking forward to getting back to my apartment in January and leaning into my hibernation period!
