July Favorites

Summer is fully here, so embracing some of my favorite Summer products/ thoughts, as per usual, but also bringing in some new stuff.

Firstly, England in the summer is magical.  I really love how Londoners embrace ‘park culture’ and just sort of lay in the park all day at the weekends.  The parks are so lovely that it really does feel like a mini vacation and you can do it alone, with one person or in a large group.  Grab a picnic and a blanket and just lay!

Things I have been loving (one of the usual suspects) Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Eye.  I have been using this cream for around six years, and it never disappoints.  I use a bunch of products from Kiehl's, but right now this one is taking the cake.  Besides the actual skincare benefits from Kiehl's, I have been obsessing over lavender scented items lately (really original, I know), especially right before bed.

The Barefoot Scientist Exfoliating Foot Peel. They are essentially disposable socks that wrap and tighten around your ankles. This was the first time I have ever used them, (I bought them on a sale around the holidays) and omg.  I am always looking for ways to make the skin on my feet less rough/ dry, and just overall more appealing to see in sandals.  These absolutely did the job.  Follow the instructions exactly and your feet will be restored to their youthful state.  Fair warning, your feel will peel for up to a week, so just plan that accordingly with the types of shoes you are wearing.  I have ordered more!!

Mizon eye gel patches with collagen.  I just ran out and immediately went to amazon to order more.  These have such lovely hydrating properties and overall give my eyes the pick me up they need.  Plus, I love this as part of my Sunday evening routine (or any other night that I am doing a full pamper).

Liquid IV.  This summer hydration has been one of my main priorities.  I drink a lot of water regularly, but once in a while I will use a liquid IV to really get that going.  I have tried and love a bunch of flavors and re order them when my stock is running low.  Great little option to slip into your purse or work bag.

To pair with my summer of hydration is my simple modern cup, that now my boyfriend steals from me.  Super sleek and I just really get joy out of the color I chose! Maybe time for a second…

Ouai hair mask.  This is my cool girl hair brand that I am fully obsessed with. This mask smells absolutely delicious.  Besides that, my hair feels amazing after every use.

Pimms.  Totally embracing what British summer has to offer and been loving up the pimms cocktails.  Feels really refreshing for summer! Plus, you can combine with so many fruits and herbs, that sometimes it helps you not waste groceries? Or at least I am telling myself that..

Spicy margs- for me not a summer, but a all year drink, but I have been loving these a bit extra lately, as always on a hunt for them in London! Some of my favorite spots for them have been Santo Remedio and The St. James Hotel in Trafalgar square rooftop bar!

Biosannce Squalane Antioxidant Cleansing Oil– this has been without a doubt the beset makeup remover I have tried (though not classified as a makeup remover).  For me it works best when I apply it to a dry face and really work it into the makeup and then I hope into the shower (not being able to see).  Then I use a second cleanser to get any bits that weren’t removed.  It really works, and major pro: its non toxic!

Lastly, been lusting over J.Crew jewelry and summer bags this month.  I’m OBSSED with everything Olympia Gayot (loved this read) touches pretty much, which hasn’t been helping my shopping habit at all.  These bracelets and even these bags are great.  One of the ones I wanted sold out before I could order it and I am crushed!
