Why You Must Visit Kruger Park, South Africa

From a young age, I had a draw to travel to South Africa.  I always imagined it being this super gorgeous, totally exotic place, comparably to growing up in New York.  I always wanted to go on a ‘safari’ I just never imagined that it would be possible, but now that I have, it has opened my eyes to more than I could have imagined. 

In the Kruger park, you are very much removed from the world.  Especially if you lean into the lack of great cell phone reception, you can really feel remote.  We all need this sometimes.  Pure nature has to be one of the most amazing resets.  I have also never seen stars quite like I witnessed in the evenings at the park.  I might be romanticizing it a bit, but try not to when the experiences changes your perspective!

Seeing wild animals in their natural habitat, up close and personal, is pretty, well, wild.  It is crazy to have a lion or leopard at an arms distance, with nothing between you two.  Plus, this will put you off zoos for life.  Once you have seen this, there is no going back!

The whole experience has just been good for the soul, and now I am awaiting the next time!
