What I have been reading lately

I constantly go in phases of reading.  Either I read four books in a week or I don’t touch a single book for a month.  I do not know why I am like this, assuming though it has to do with the book itself most of the time.  I love reading and often keeping to a bit of a routine actually in a way sets me up for the day.  Now that it is summer (almost) I assume there will be many moments of laying out in the park or at the beach with a summer read! Here’s what I have been digging into the past few months…

Thinking, Fast and Slow | Opened up my mind a bit on thinking, definitely interesting

People We Meet on Vacation (You and Me on Vacation for my UK girlies) | Love! I gobble up Emily Henry books in general.  She always knows how to pull on your emotions and make you feel! I need to get my hands on her newest book, Funny Story, ASAP

The Productivity Project | Gave me some insights on ways of thinking in terms of being more productive, definitely have put some ideas into practice!

Beautiful World, Where Are You | Sally Rooney has a beautiful writing style, this was my first book by her!

Influencer | Quick read, bit more insight into the industry.  I wrote my dissertation on this form of advertising, so I always find it interesting!

Taste | Give me anything with Stanley Tucci and I am happy, add someone who loves food and I am in heaven!

Maybe You Should Talk to Someone | I LOVED this book and I didn’t think I would.  I cried and laughed, and felt a rollercoaster of emotions throughout it.  I have never tried therapy but this book made me want to.  It truly enables you to reassess how you perceive situations and compare them to your own experiences.

Olive | I found this one interesting, especially as a woman.  Definitely worth the read!

What do I NEED to read for summer?
